The summer months opens up an all new opportunity to see something different and truly Scottish in nature, the Highland games. The most famous of which is Braemar Gathering where the Queen can be spotted every year. For further star spotting opportunities the Lonach gathering has been known to welcome the likes of Billy Connelly, Steve Martin and Robin Williams.
In the summer it is also easy to find a local village gala or agricultural show where stalls and events are on throughout a weekend.
